• Section 1; sentence 1; "...launch of the French Gloire, the first ironclad warship", first ironclad of the world or Europe or France, mention that clearly.

• Section 1; Better mention who is "Kaiser Franz Josef I", something like "Emperor of Austria" etc.

  • Indicated horsepower - it's already linked in the first half of that sentence
• Section 1.2; Please maintain consistency while mentioned the pounder count; 48-pounder, 24-pounder, 12-pounder gun, six-pounder. Instead of "six", "6" is to be used.

  • It reflects the contradiction between what one would expect (namely, that the ships would return to service once the modernization was done) and what actually happened.
• In the infobox it was stated that they remained in commission up to 1873, but this was never mentioned in the prose. The same goes in the lead also.
  • The ships were in commission until they were stricken from the register in 1873, which is mentioned
• Lead; The class consisted of the lead ship, Kaiser Max, Prinz Eugen, and Juan de Austria; is comma (,) necessary after "lead ship"? I think "lead ship Kaiser Max" would be fine.

• Both images don't have dates in their description. Circa dates are available from the sources mentioned. For SMS Prinz Eugen.jpg, it may be c. prior to 1867. For SMS Kaiser Max illustration.tif, it may be c. 1860–1869.
