[edit]Header case and quotation marks around song titles
[edit]I've noticed that one or several editors to this page have been reverting two particular edits to this page, namely the changing of the section headers "Track listing" and "Alternative routines" to "Track Listing" and "Alternative Routines", and the removal of quotation marks from around the titles of all the songs. Per WP:SECTIONCAPS, words in section headers after the first word should only start with caps if they are proper nouns. (Just Dance series would be an an appropriate use of caps, but Track Listing is not because Just Dance is the name of the game...literally!) Also, per WP:QUOTEMARK, song titles should be enclosed in quote marks. I'm going to change it back to the correct formatting but if you have any questions, please ask away! Errors in the Track Listing
[edit]Come and Get It and Reload shouldn't be in the tracklist section. They haven't been confirmed in any way, and should be removed.
Also, the I Will Survive dancer is female. — Preceding unsigned comment added by MastaLukeDJHero (talk • contribs) 13:26, 6 September 2013 (UTC)

Please remove Come and Get It and Reload from the tracklist, as they have not been confirmed. The references provided for those songs do not say anything about them being on the game. Also, change the I Will Survive dancer to female. The dancer looks like a woman. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ujLd-tK-U9Q MastaLukeDJHero (talk) 13:35, 6 September 2013 (UTC)
- Please provide (a) reliable source(s) to back up this change. Thanks, BobAmnertiopsis∴ChatMe! 15:30, 6 September 2013 (UTC)
- @MastaLukeDJHero Removing Come & Get It and Reload may be legit, but as for the dancer for I Will Survive, the official Just Dance UK account has claimed the dancer as a male in one of their comments. The link is in the history for the article somewhere under my name. Not the history for the talk page. And can someone re-add Could You Be Loved to the list? It's by Bob Marley and it's a duet with females. Kittygirl7878 (talk) 18:08, 6 September 2013 (UTC)
While this isn't really related to the topic, I'm glad that the page got fully protected. This has happened many times before in past games of the main series where people would just put whatever song they put on there even though it wasn't true.
(I will admit there has been a time where I assumed a dancer was for a song which turned out to be true/false; true cause it was a girl dancer but false cause it wasn't that specific girl dancer. I think I was on an IP address at the time or something and I'm saying all this so I won't like..contradict myself on all this craziness that's happened so far on this page) --Wiiboy829 (talk) 15:07, 7 September 2013 (UTC)
Actually Come and Get It might be in the game; on the European websites there's a Latin-looking girl and a rapper-looking guy doing the same move, and the Wikipedia page says that it's a duet (although it's probably just speculation), so maybe those two dancers are for Come and Get It. — Preceding unsigned comment added by MastaLukeDJHero (talk • contribs) 17:54, 7 September 2013 (UTC)

Please remove Come & Get it and Reload from the track list and re add Could you be loved by Bob Marley (Duet, Female/Female, TBA Difficulty). Someone vandalised the page and it got locked before anyone removed Come & Get it and Reload and readd Could you be loved. There is no valid source on Reload and Come & Get it, the sources don't say anything about those two songs. For Could you be loved, it was on a video made by Danzflor that got put down by Ubisoft, I saw it myself. — Preceding unsigned comment added by MasterTornado (talk • contribs)

Let's make the table work
[edit]Here's the table, taken from the article as of this diff. The purpose of this is to work together off the articlespace to create a table that is accurate and well sourced. If you're going to add or remove a song, please provide a reliable source, such as a news organization or an official video (not just a random user's YouTube clips), and make a comment about why you did what you did in the Comments section below. This way, we can get the article unlocked and as good as it can be.

[edit]Start your comments on the song list here. Example: I added "Song" because there's an official video at www.officialgamewebsite.com that includes the song in its track list. Please sign your comments. BobAmnertiopsis∴ChatMe! 08:01, 9 September 2013 (UTC)
Whoever knows how to do references, can you help me with the 15th reference? I want the link to the YouTube Just Dance Applause video, but I don't know how to make a reference.--Lpcarver (talk) 02:17, 22 September 2013 (UTC)
Added Bob Marley's "Could You Be Loved", because there was a gameplay of that song that was taken down by copyright. BTW is Robot Rock actually on JD2014? There were some comments about it.--Lpcarver (talk) 02:17, 22 September 2013 (UTC)
Removed Come & Get it and Reload because both those songs do not have valid sources. Added Could you be loved by Bob Marley because 1. It was vandalised and taken off the page before the page was locked. 2. It was shown as one of the songs as Festigame Chile 2013 (I saw it with my own eyes and a youtube video had footage of it but it was taken down by ubisoft. — Preceding unsigned comment added by MasterTornado (talk • contribs) 07:35, 10 September 2013 (UTC)
Saying that you've seen it doesn't qualify as proof. And those videos aren't official videos. (Even though they're most likely true, they can't be truly "confirmed" unless Ubisoft actually announces them)
The only ones that should be there are Blame it on the Boogie,Blurred Lines,C'mon,Candy,Feel This Moment,Fine China,Follow the Leader,Gentleman,Get Lucky,Ghostbusters,I Kissed a Girl,,I Will Survive,I Will Survive (On-Stage),In the Summertime,Kiss You,Kiss You (6 Player),Limbo,Pound the Alarm,Pound the Alarm (Extreme),Rich Girl,Starships,#thatPOWER,Troublemaker,Turn Up the Love and YMCA. All but 1 of these have official gameplay videos posted by official channels of Just Dance. I Will Survive (On-Stage) hasn't but a gameplay video has been posted, confirming it. (I'm talking about ones that are like, pretty straight forward and real with a good quality, not one from like an event such as Gamescom)
The rest are just songs that were shown at this Chile Festival that spoiled a lot of things about the game. None of those songs haven't been announced yet by Ubisoft or have had an official gameplay video. (Even though they're like 99.9% true)
As for Appluase,Roar & The Way, the cover IS official and the site that posted it (gamefly) I think IS an official website but it has been since taken down so I guess you people can decided whether or not they can stay. --Wiiboy829 (talk) 11:35, 11 September 2013 (UTC)
There's a new gameplay video out of "Danse" by TAL. It looks official, since it has the same quality and "Just Dance 2014" watermark as any other official gameplay. It's a PAL-exclusive song. --MastaLukeDJHero (talk) 19:19, 12 September 2013 (UTC)
Hmm. I just searched it and you're right. I'd say that one can be on there too. Disappointed that it's a PAL exclusive but oh well. You win some you lose some. --Wiiboy829 (talk) 20:58, 12 September 2013 (UTC)
Who knows, it might become a DLC for North America. PAL songs in other games never did because they were mostly (if not only) popular in Europe, and "Danse" has Flo Rida in it, someone who's known in both regions, and his fans might find out about that song and want to see it on the game. With Flo Rida in it, it might just become a little more popular in North America too. That's what happened with Good Girl in Just Dance 4. It was mostly just popular in North America while they were still making that game, and then it eventually became well known in Europe too so they made it a DLC for Europe. --Kittygirl7878 (talk) 00:33, 13 September 2013 (UTC)
I think there were some people from NA that knew about the other PAL songs from past games. It felt a bit baffling when Good Girl was available for DLC on the PAL yet Cercavo Amore & Diggin' In The Dirt weren't. Some people might want to hear music from other regions. If we could get Crucified, we could have gotten Cercavo & Diggin'.
I'm hoping Danse will be a DLC for the NA region. It kinda defeats the purpose of the World Dancefloor mode when there's a song only available in 1 region. --Wiiboy829 (talk) 01:25, 13 September 2013 (UTC)
Right, and in Just Dance 3 if we can have She's Got Me Dancing (which only charted on a UK chart and is by an English singer) then we could have Marcia Baila and Satellite, especially since Marcia Baila was number 27 on US Billboard Hot Dance Party meaning NA region people would know about it, and how Satellite has a YouTube music video of 40 million views meaning some NA region people have maybe clicked on it and liked it, even before Just Dance 3 came out. --Kittygirl7878 (talk) 04:23, 13 September 2013 (UTC)
So I just saw a post that said that a shopping site leaked the full tracklist of the game. I don't know if it's true/official yet, but some more (apparently) confirmed songs are Single Ladies by Beyonce, What About Love by Austin Mahone, and Best Song Ever by One Direction. https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=634994136534848&set=a.370732002961064.91354.307146419319623&type=1&theater And here's a behind the scenes video for the making of Alfonso Sigorini by Fedez, which claims that it will be a PAL exclusive. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kQMyd5G_bj8&feature=player_embedded — Preceding unsigned comment added by MastaLukeDJHero (talk • contribs) 02:14, 14 September 2013 (UTC)
I hope those are true. Those are good songs. There are lots of songs that I want on the Just Dance games, but that's a long list. I think the real list will be revealed by Ubisoft before the page unlocks. I've seen people put out high quality dances and the song list in game a week before the games have been released. Those were for the 3rd and 4th games. --Kittygirl7878 (talk) 03:39, 14 September 2013 (UTC)
Two things: First, lights, Glamorous, Long Tall Sally, Don't Go Breaking my Heart and Whistle should be on the list because it was actually posted by Ubisoft. Second of all, Voila: http://tarreo.com/noticias/32307/Festigame-Preview-Just-Dance-2014-Wii-U/ This confirms Prince Ali, Maria, Just a Gigolo, Moskau,Gimme! Gimme! Gimme! (A Man after Midnight), It's You and Just Dance. Also Masta I'd like to believe that's true but is there anything that supports it? Is the website real? Etc — Preceding unsigned comment added by 210.50.204.247 (talk) 12:04, 14 September 2013 (UTC)
Well, no, there's no official confirmation on the website's information right now. I'd like to believe it's true though. — Preceding unsigned comment added by MastaLukeDJHero (talk • contribs) 12:26, 14 September 2013 (UTC)
While I would like to believe that those songs are true, since it was posted by Ubisoft,I'm not sure they are. Other than that there has been nothing else that makes those songs true. There's also the fact that the post got deleted later pretty recent since it's submit.
There is a possibility that those will be on it but just being announced in the final tracklist announcement but for now I'd say keep an eye on it. (If you know what I mean) --Wiiboy829 (talk) 17:50, 14 September 2013 (UTC)
I've just heard that Feel So Right is by Imposs ft. Konshens, so something tells me that the "full tracklist" isn't real. — Preceding unsigned comment added by MastaLukeDJHero (talk • contribs) 14:32, 14 September 2013 (UTC)
But since Feel So Right is featured on Autodance 2014, it's definitely a confirmed song, so I'll put it in the table.
Aw man. It's not by MAX? :( Shame. Oh well. --Wiiboy829 (talk) 17:50, 14 September 2013 (UTC)
Is it still the same type of dancer as we thought? --Kittygirl7878 (talk) 18:45, 14 September 2013 (UTC)
IDK. Trying to avoid as many spoilers song-wise minus the song (Like the gender, dance, etc) as possible while still trying to contribute. --Wiiboy829 (talk) 20:14, 14 September 2013 (UTC)
It must be, because the Festigame demo was like 75% of the finished game. --MastaLukeDJHero (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 19:03, 15 September 2013 (UTC)
The Way has been announced,so that can be on there. It also makes the new cover more likely official than unofficial. --Wiiboy829 (talk) 20:39, 16 September 2013 (UTC)
Yes, I'm pretty sure it's official. GameFly posted it (which is an official gaming site), and since The Way is confirmed, it's getting more and more likely to be official every day. --MastaLukeDJHero (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 02:09, 17 September 2013 (UTC)
Well, The Other Side was confirmed yesterday, and today Just Dance was announced (yes, it's real!) so I'll add those two. --MastaLukeDJHero (talk) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.70.148.208 (talk) 20:50, 18 September 2013 (UTC)
Just Dance hasn't been announced but it is confirmed, cause apparently there's a gameplay video of it posted. Probably be officially announced like tomorrow or the next day. --Wiiboy829 (talk) 22:27, 18 September 2013 (UTC)
Short gameplay of Just Dance by Lady Gaga. Seems legit? Kittygirl7878 (talk) 03:51, 19 September 2013 (UTC)
I think we can officially add Just Dance by Lady Gaga now. 99.239.188.117 (talk) 20:02, 19 September 2013 (UTC)

On YouTube, Cosmunn Gameplays announced that Robot Rock is on JD2014 — Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.163.156.31 (talk) 20:20, 21 September 2013 (UTC)
In this mode, players compete against each other in specially made routines, where one song goes against another. Players can play against the AI or human players for five rounds. If a player wins a round, they will have their song play in the next round. Whoever wins the most rounds wins the battle. Only one has been confirmed so far.

The preorder trailer for the game has been leaked, and we finally get a glimpse of Roar by Katy Perry! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rILYxfBMBdw — Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.70.148.208 (talk) 21:53, 20 September 2013 (UTC)
That first dance in the video could be another song, but we'll just have to wait and see. Kittygirl7878 (talk) 22:51, 20 September 2013 (UTC)
Well it did go perfectly with Roar in the background, so I'm assuming it's Roar. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.70.148.208 (talk) 00:27, 21 September 2013 (UTC)
Also, I saw a comment on YouTube that said the person saw Prince Ali played at Festigame, and the characters are Jasmine, Aladdin, Genie, and Jafar. We have no confirmation of this right now, but it seems convincing enough. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.70.148.208 (talk) 02:27, 21 September 2013 (UTC)
The trailer 99.9% confirms that the box art is real. It looks like that one is Roar although we can't confirm it cause one, no separate gameplay video shown and it hasn't been officially announced by anyone. (I tried to avoid as many spoilers as possible however this one I had to see. TBH though, it actually didn't have any spoilers besides the Roar stuff so whoo) --Wiiboy829 (talk) 13:06, 21 September 2013 (UTC)
Robot Rock by Daft Punk recording, as it seems. Kittygirl7878 (talk) 18:19, 21 September 2013 (UTC)
No, that doesn't sound like Robot Rock at all. Maybe it's the song with the robot dancing to it, who knows. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.70.148.208 (talk) 00:15, 22 September 2013 (UTC)
But apparently there's a Sweat Version of Follow the Leader... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5ji8XdqyS8I Also, there's a mashup for Fine China https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dL-32iEt_oA — Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.70.148.208 (talk) 00:23, 22 September 2013 (UTC)
I haven't seen the videos (nor will ever see them until after the game) but how in the world are these people obtaining these videos? --Wiiboy829 (talk) 04:22, 22 September 2013 (UTC)
Well actually, the videos don't show the routines themselves, but they show screenshots of the Uplay website, and they say that a Fine China mashup and a Sweat Version of Follow the Leader can be unlocked with Uplay points. --MastaLukeDJHero (talk) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.70.148.208 (talk) 11:34, 22 September 2013 (UTC)
Oh ok. Well in that case I shall listen to it. (Still not looking though) UPDATE: Just heard Part 2 it and it was just instrumental Pound The Alarm. Turns out the screenshots weren't as bad as I thought they were gonna be so I decided to just see the words. Very interesting. --Wiiboy829 (talk) 12:57, 22 September 2013 (UTC)
But I DESPERATELY want to know what song was in that green-screen recording video. It's very likely that it's the one with the robot in it, but something tells me it's also a Ubisoft song. --MastaLukeDJHero (talk) 16:06, 22 September 2013 (UTC)
Big news: Just Dance Fans just posted a few Autodance videos that show some songs that are either on the game or are DLC are: We Can't Stop by Miley Cyrus, Miss Understood by Sammy, Dançado by Ivete Sangalo, Can't Hold Us by Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Wake Me Up by Avicii, Waking Up in Vegas by Katy Perry, and Wild by Jessie J. Luckily for people who want to avoid spoilers, the videos don't really show what the routines are going to look like. --MastaLukeDJHero (talk) 10:14, 23 September 2013 (UTC)
Can't put them on the list yet but those are most likely real. As for songs, I'm guessing this is the rest of the tracklist or the songs are half tracklist have Day 1 DLC. How this person got these i beyond me (The app hasn't even come out yet :o :p0 but it could have been the devs. posting example ones or something
><. We Can't Stop? "sigh". I would have preferred any song pre blonde-short makeover. --Wiiboy829 (talk) 12:14, 23 September 2013 (UTC)
HUGE NEWS: The full tracklist has been revealed! The tracklist is right here: http://just-dance-thegame.ubi.com/jd-portal/en-GB/just-dance-2014/wii/ Unfortunately, the songs that were posted on Ubisoft's Twitter page actually AREN'T on the game (which I kind of knew all along.) Wierdly, Run Dem Boyz isn't on it either, so it could be a DLC. And it looks like We Can't Stop, Can't Hold Us, Dançado, Wake Me Up, and Waking Up in Vegas will be DLC, which I'm really excited about. And the total is 46 songs! --MastaLukeDJHero (talk) 19:07, 23 September 2013 (UTC)
Also, there's this guy named Seba Norambuena on Twitter who's posting tons of new stuff about the game. You should follow him. For example, there's an Extreme Version of Fine China... http://instagram.com/p/emu9f-skzU/ — Preceding unsigned comment added by MastaLukeDJHero (talk • contribs) 19:58, 23 September 2013 (UTC)
And I just found out that The Other Side is going to be an American exclusive (sorry Europe) and Dançando is going to be an NTSC exclusive. http://www.nintendolife.com/news/2013/09/ubisoft_reveals_full_just_dance_2014_tracklist
Time for a random ramble: I think we have too many female dancers (especially for male songs) and too many female and female duets in terms of same gender duets. That doesn't mean I want them to be completely gotten rid of, I still like them, but not when it's overdone. Good thing there's always the chances of alternative dances and DLCs that could contain more male dancers. I want to see more male dancers dancing to songs sang mostly be females. If Ubisoft thinks about recycling old songs from past games, they should get the ones from the first game, especially the ones that haven't been recycled yet. But I am happy that NTSC exclusive songs exist on this game and some of the songs I like are on this game. I want to learn how to make games like Just Dance, in terms of coding everything. --Kittygirl7878 (talk) 20:36, 23 September 2013 (UTC)
Whoot whoot we get exclusives. :)
Disappointed that there are covers but oh well. i would still classify this as the best tracklist though. The songs kinda actually evened it up so there will be something for everybody. --Wiiboy829 (talk) 20:39, 23 September 2013 (UTC)
I agree, this is the best tracklist of any Just Dance game. There's way more current songs, and there's even some artists that I never expected would even BE on a Just Dance game, like Lady Gaga and Bob Marley. I also feel lucky that I live in America, because I love The Other Side. The NTSC exclusives are actually good this time. --MastaLukeDJHero (talk) 22:49, 23 September 2013 (UTC)
Battle mode info! First of all, Its Gentleman vs Fine China, Not The Other Side (I doubt they would make a vs mode with a song that isn't actually in the game), second of all: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uF4u_LAQ_44 Pound the Alarm vs Kiss you!
The gameplay video of Roar has just been released. And is the same routine in the preorder trailer. Links: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3IontGEPw_g ; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VjckGXN1RLw
Well, Just Dance officially posted on their Facebook page that What About Love by Austin Mahone will be a DLC in the coming months. I can hear all the Mahomies screaming to themselves right now. — Preceding unsigned comment added by MastaLukeDJHero (talk • contribs) 22:39, 26 September 2013 (UTC)
Where did you find this? I've checked and Just Dance Facebook page doesn't have anything about 'What about love', though if I search 'What about love Just Dance 2014' I'm getting some pages that say that Austin himself confirmed it... — Preceding unsigned comment added by MasterTornado (talk • contribs) 09:25, 27 September 2013 (UTC)
It's on the US Facebook. It's the only picture with Mahone. Says it in the text. In other news, we have a slew of gameplays on the UK YouTube channel. 99.239.188.117 (talk) 20:04, 27 September 2013 (UTC)
WOO! The page finally got unlocked! Now the page is finally verifiable and valid! (And idiots will stop saying Come and Get It and Reload and Lights and all those other songs are on the game.) --MastaLukeDJHero (talk) 21:58, 27 September 2013 (UTC)

Could someone please run Dabsolver to disambiguate the links in this article? Thanks in advance! GoingBatty (talk) 14:11, 15 September 2013 (UTC)
- Sorry I don't know how to do that! (And WP:Dabsolver was no use.) Please can you be more specific? — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 09:54, 16 September 2013 (UTC)
- After coming here when I hit the edit protection trying to save a run of dabsolver, I just ran it on User:MasterTornado/Just Dance. I hope that that is the correct procedure; it's been a while since I encountered an admin protection while gnoming. —Ost (talk) 19:19, 24 September 2013 (UTC)
