Date Judges Lodging Built?
[edit]Hi all, if anyone is able to offer any sources to suggest a date that Judges Lodgings was built. We are trying to find evidence for/against the 'Old Hall'being on the grounds of the Judges Lodgings. There is an argument that the lodgings are a development of the Old Hall and its been suggested that the Old Hall may have been demolished to make way for the Judges Lodgings. Any references for either are much appreciated! Thanks very much, ツStacey (talk) 13:58, 20 September 2014 (UTC)
You need to speak to the current museum curators of the Judges' Lodgings and I suggest you do so within the next week. Due to council funding cuts this museum, along with a number of others in Lancashire, are being closed as of the end of March. What will happen to the worlds largest collection of Gillows furniture after that is unknown. This valuable educational resource and piece of Lancaster's heritage could be lost forever. --IllustratorForHire (talk) 13:24, 20 February 2016 (UTC)
