The result of the move request was: No consensus for any change. Certainly moving Josh Adams seems unfounded, per Athomeinkobe, as we don't know if the others are full Joshuas. And I don't see either consensus or any strong reason why the dancesporter needs to move either. The hatnote should be sufficient. (non-admin closure) — Amakuru (talk) 11:04, 18 April 2016 (UTC)
– No evidence Joshua Adams is the primary topic, as all the Josh Adams are just as valid search terms for Joshua Adams. Dancesport seems best dismabiguator, as that's what he does. Disambiguation page should move to Joshua Adams, as that's the fullname, and Josh Adams should redirect to it. All in all, this would be a proper cleanup of the disambiguation, leaving just 1 disambiguation page. Joseph2302 (talk) 21:54, 10 April 2016 (UTC)
- Oppose There is no evidence that any of the others have "Joshua" as their full legal name. Of the four people listed at Josh Adams (excluding the dancer Joshua Adams), three of them do not use the name "Joshua" anywhere in their article or references. The rugby player's article starts with "Joshua Adams", but the infobox uses the name Josh, as do all of the references used in the article, so there is no evidence that the rugby player's fullname is Joshua either. On the other hand, the dancer is listed as "Joshua" in the 2002 results page that is used as a reference in his article. So apart from the dancer, none of the others appear to be known by the name Joshua at all, making this move unnecessary. Assuming that all of the others are really named "Joshua" is an unfounded assumption. I will add a hatnote to the Joshua Adams page, which I think is sufficient.
