[edit]Josephine Dows Randall was a remarkable and notable leader in public administration in the City and County of San Francisco. I have found reliable books and journal articles on Josephine Randall thanks to the SF History Center at the main SF Public Library and the San Francisco State University library. Books include Pioneers in Public Recreation (1965), University of California Centential Record (1967), and Herminia Din's PhD disseration (1998). Journals include Recreation (1938) and Museum News (1963) I'll be using these to complete this biography page. I would welcome suggestions for sources -- especially Ms Randall's involvement with the scientific society Sigma Xi. AndrewMinko (talk) 17:41, 16 July 2011 (UTC)
