[edit]Just a note that it's typically very difficult for middle school articles to survive. It's a good idea to add reliable sources to this article that establish notability. Arthurrh (talk) 18:21, 12 December 2007 (UTC)
- I understand that Wikipedia does not commonly have articles on middle schools, but the essential goal of Wikipedia is to grow and expand with notable organizations. Though the article is small now, when students from the middle school, teachers, and alumni begin to add to the article, it will grow and become a necessary part of Wikipedia. - The size isn't the issue. If you want to be sure the article survives, the best tactic is to add reliable sources to provide verifability of notability. In other words, articles from third-party sources such as newspapers, magazines, etc. Sources such as the school or district website don't help establish notability. If you have questions or need help, please ask. AliveFreeHappy (talk) 21:54, 27 December 2007 (UTC)
I just added some info on why this school is individually notable: notable architect, notable building, significance in local history. This is probably the only school in U.A. that should have an independent article; the rest are housed in completely undistinguished facilities and have no history beyond statistics, which the very-stubby district article could easily incorporate.
