Article is not currently a 5x expansion; no prejudice against renomination if the article is promoted to GA status.

- ... that Jonathan Hellyer has a falsetto and sung with Eartha Kitt and Bronski Beat?
- Reviewed:
- Comment: He is a lesser known singer of a band that helped to pave the way for gay rights and LGBTQ. This singer sung with one of the most known femaie singers ever, Eartha Kitt and he also has done the Dame Edna Experience.

- Hi DragonofBatley (talk), unfortunately I don't think this article currently meets the DYK eligibility criteria. It needs to either be a new article, expanded more than five times in length (I count a little over 2x expansion from the pre-existing version) or promoted as a WP:Good Article. If you think you can add enough content to get it to 5x expansion I am happy to look again in a few days, but otherwise your best bet might be to take it through the Good Article process - Dumelow (talk) 11:49, 16 May 2023 (UTC)
- Hi @Dumelow:, I have added more sources and content to the article. More to his career, personal life and a discography with sources. Do you feel it could be up to Did You Know? standards? Thanks DoB DragonofBatley (talk)
- Hi DragonofBatley. The test is a purely quantitative one, the number of characters in the proposed article (excluding references, headers, lists etc.) must be at lest five times as many as in the pre-expansion article. I measure 1,338 characters in this version from 2 April and 2,692 characters in the current version. You'd have to add almost 4,000 characters of text to meet the requirement, which would be a significant amount of work. There are other criteria too, which you can read here. One thing that would need to be addressed is citations, we normally require a minimum of one citation per paragraph, some of those in the current article have no citations at all. This would be of concern, particularly as the article subject is still alive. As I say, the expansion might be too much to ask, if so you could try to bring the article up to the WP:Good Article standard; new GAs are eligible to feature on DYK too - Dumelow (talk) 05:53, 1 June 2023 (UTC)
