Climate change denial

I think this section is misleading. The linked article doesn't mention the Templeton Foundation. Instead, it features a blurry version of a figure from a paper. Interestingly, the Vanguard Charitable Endowment Program is also listed in the same figure (Figure 1), so by the same reasoning I guess it would count as a funder of climate change denial, which seems strange to me. Figure 2 from the paper reveals the author's methodology – based on how I'm reading it, these are the organizations the author considers part of the "climate change counter-movement (CCCM)." Basically, they are conservative think tanks that do work on a variety of topics. My understanding is that Templeton funds specific proposals, rather than giving lump sums of money to organizations. So the author never established that Templeton funds climate change denialism itself, just that it has some kind of relationship with organizations which have been involved with climate change denial. So I think the link between Templeton and climate change denial is weak at best, and should probably be removed from the article unless some nuance can be added. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Peter.Story (talk • contribs) 15:42, 8 November 2022 (UTC)
