I think we should change the photo of the page maybe to this one
http://www.flickr.com/photos/wwerocks/1563717716/ -------- this one for the "finisher" section or this one http://www.flickr.com/photos/larsenphotography/1291732830/ ------- for the Statics section
A question...
Why is the name of Nitro's finisher called "Nitro Twister" and "Super Nitro Twister" when there is no proof of that? If the name is made up by Wiki users, then "Nitrosault" and "Nitro Star Press" makes more sense. Well, why is it called "Twister"? TJ Sparks 02:43am, Nov. 16, 2006 (UTC)
Question about Signature Moves
How many times would a wrestler (in this case, Johnny Nitro) have to do a move for it to be added to the moves list? --TJ Sparks 09:04, 28 November 2006 (UTC)
It must be used on a regular basis. What move are you talking about? -- THLCCD 11:58, 28 November 2006 (UTC)
That springboard roundhouse kick he did 3 weeks ago on RAW against Jeff Hardy. --TJ Sparks 15:04, 28 November 2006 (UTC)
Do not take out shoulder neckbreaker, he has started to use the move on reguar basis and uses it in just about every match.
Sorry I forgot about this Sparks. That move was an Enzuigiri, and he doesn't use it on a regular basis. He might start soon seeing as he is really good at it, but at the moment he doesn't. I would wait to add it. As for the neckbreaker, I have to agree with the anon. He does use it on a regular basis. Cheers, -- THLR 22:31, 8 December 2006 (UTC)
I don't believe that Nitro uses the Superkick anymore more and should be either transfered to the signatures list, or removed, I tried changing it this morning, but someone has changed it back. Does anyone agree that it should not be considered a finisher anymore? or that possibly the Feint Backdrop Wheelbarrow facebuster should be considered one? --BenTotkyo 13:52, March 1 2007 (UTC)
- Moves are not demoted once they have been used as a finisher for an amount of time. «»bd(talk stalk) 18:23, 1 March 2007 (UTC)
- Then should't there be a date (example- 2004-2006) attached at the end of it, to signify that it isn't used anymore? (I would do this myself but I have no idea as to what year he started using the Superkick.) There's this other move that I see him do every third or fourth match, it's a spinning roundhouse kick, downwards onto an opponent that hung/elevated half way inside the ring. If you know what I'm talking about, please respond. --BenTotkyo 14:28, 1 March 2007 (UTC)
Stop vandalizing the page...
The move is not called a sky twister moonsault or a 630 moonsault - it is a CORKSCREW MOONSAULT - I don't care what they call it in SvR, or what you like to call it, we go by what the offical name is. or the actual LOGICAL name of the move, and sky twister is not the offfical or logical name for it, nor is 630 corkscrew moonsault. JUST SIMPLY CORKSCREW MOONSAULT. If you continue to vandalize the page, I shall report you to higher administrators. --James Maxx 00:18, 15 December 2006 (UTC)
So someone keeps changing the corkscrew moonsault out of teh finishers and into the signatures. whoever this is, would you please stop demoting moves. --Ben Tokyo 13:40, March 27 2007 (UTC)
630 Corkscrew Moonsault, Yes or No?
I believe Nitro's corkscrew moonsault is what it is, a Corkscrew moonsault, nothing more, nothing less. I doubt how many times you spin in a corkscrew moonsault actually matters to the name of it. You also added in "Sky twister corkscrew moonsault" in the past, which was vandalism. So unless its announced on TV that Nitro's move IS a "630 Corkscrew Moonsault", do not add it back in. If a higher editor feels it should be added in, then I will admit I was wrong, and allow you to make the edit, but until then, if you add that in, I will consider it an act of vandalism. -- Jลмєs Mลxx™ Msg me 03:36, 18 December 2006 (UTC)
He is adding the 630 as an observation of how many degrees he turns, which is OR. I have no idea where the sky twister name is coming from. I agree that we should just leave the name alone. Cheers, -- THL 05:18, 18 December 2006 (UTC)
I added in the 630 to make the observation that Nitro's corkscrew varies from other corkscrew moonsaults. A lot of them aren't the same, so I was clarifying the number of degrees. As for the sky twister, someone had that in before me, so when I first added in 630 I added next to it "Sky Twister" not to make confusion. I admit I may have been wrong on the Sky Twister incident, but I think that the 630 should be there because some corkscrews are less degrees, sometimes even more. I'm not sure what "OR" means, so I don't know what to say about that.. Thanks.
ERIC BISCHOFF A MANAGER?
Shouldn't Bischoff qualify as one of Nitro's managers? If I recall, Bischoff may have been at ringside for some of Nitro's matches. He is technically a former manager of Nitro. Opinions? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 141.151.88.124 (talk) 22:05, 18 December 2006 (UTC).
- Bischoff has been in the corner of many people in the past. If we were to add all the people he has actually been in the corner of, then it would be a very long list, so no, it should not be added. And as for the 630, and "OR" - That means Original Research. see WP:OR for information on this. Please remember to sign your comments using 4 tildes: ~~~~. -- Jลмєs Mลxx™ Msg me 22:28, 18 December 2006 (UTC)
Ok, but on to the point why 630 should be listed, I'll give you an example and maybe you'll understand more clearly. Edge's finisher is a Edgecution, and the technical name is an Impaler DDT/Lifting DDT. You can't just put "DDT" because there are more than one kinds of DDTs. There are snap ddt's, asai ddt's, etc. This is equivalent to the corkscrew moonsault because there is more than one kind of corkscrew moonsault. Not all of them have 630 degrees, and I think it should be listed to show the corkscrew in a more precise way.
- Just to get this out of the way, I did not remove the Johnny Nitro sites, someone else did. Now to the 630. We have a list of moves that have actually been done by wrestlers in history. A corkscrew does spin many times, but it depends on how light you are, and/or how fast you can spin. One wrestler can spin only 360 degrees, and it would still be a corkscrew moonsault. Why? Because a corkscrew moonsault is when you spin in midair (regardless of how many times you can do the spin) and land in a normal moonsault fashion. If he landed on his back, it would be known as a "Corkscrew Senton". Just to show you proof of this, here is the actual definition of the corkscrew moonsault, taken from the moonsault page: "This is a twisting moonsault in which the attacker stands on an elevated platform, such as the top rope, and performs a moonsault with a 360° twist or multiple twists, landing as if performing a normal moonsault." As you see, it says 360 degrees or multiple twists, therefore, regardless of the fact that he may spin 630 degrees, it is still a corkscrew moonsault, as per the definition. I hope this clears things up. -- Jลмєs Mลxx™ Msg me 23:16, 18 December 2006 (UTC)
Okay, the definition makes it make more sense. Thanks for taking the time to explain that.
Snapshot
Should Nitro's Snapshot be added, since many wikipedia pages do include finishers from the past. And also, MNM has been teaming frequently and I believe won a match on Smackdown with the Snapshot a few weeks ago. If you guys agree add it or I will if I'm on. ~ 141.151.88.124
- Some moron must have taken it out. I'll add it while I'm adding the Enzuigiri. Cheers, -- THL 04:07, 19 December 2006 (UTC)

I dont see why we have a pic wif him holding the IC Title. He aint the champ anymore so we need one of him just like that or maybe wif the sexy melina! ----Belevsquad 10:30, 16 January 2007 (UTC)

Yeah, and besides, the other pic we had before is what he looked like on Smackdown, and he changed his look a little bit. He removed his blonde highlights since moving to RAW. 151.197.218.184 18:20, 20 January 2007 (UTC)
But if it makes any difference, a picture with Milena could be used, just to show who managed him for the first years of his career.--Lord Dagon 17:12, 1 November 2007 (UTC)
Actually, never mind what I said before, instead, lets get a picture of him with his new Morrison persona, maybe someone went to a house show and took his picture hopefully? Melina/Nitro broken up on screen?
I have the July 2007 WWE Magazine, and I don't see where Melina claims they are broken up on screen. I've seen internet reports, but can't find it in the magazine. Anyone got the page number??? 70.16.133.35 17:39, 26 June 2007 (UTC)
when did they break up? user:sub619 20:46, 26 June 2007 (UTC)
Well this "article" suggests it was just a break up of their on screen teaming, but I've read the article atleast 7 times and I can't find where it says it. I think people may have mixed up where it talks about the "split", and thought it meant them splitting rather than Melina's entrance split. Once again. Anyone have the page number? If not it should be deleted. 70.16.133.35 21:44, 26 June 2007 (UTC)

Corkscrew Neckbreaker..
Joey Styles may have called it a Corkscrew Neckbreaker, but how is it a corkscrew in any way? Commentators call moves names that are incorrect a lot, especially JR when he mixes up Impaler and Snap DDTs.. I think it should just be called a Front Flip Neckbreaker.. It's the technical name, and makes sense. 70.16.133.35 05:09, 5 July 2007 (UTC)
- It doesn't matter what Joey Styles called it, it is written in the ECW results from this week as a corkscrew neckbreaker. - Deep Shadow 05:12, 5 July 2007 (UTC)
I didn't think it was a corkscrew. Look on here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Corkscrew_wrestling_moves Those are a list of Corkscrew moves. A corkscrew has twists.. So you would think it would be a senton (front flip) rather than a corkscrew (twisting). 70.16.133.35 05:17, 5 July 2007 (UTC)

I think this page should be renamed from John Hennigan to Johnny Nitro. He's more known as Nitro than his own name anyway. Any thoughts? -- Jลмєs Mลxx™ Msg me 23:10, 13 July 2007 (UTC)

Kayfabe name change
Johnny just announced on tonight's ECW that he will now go by the name "John Morrison." Miroku bozu 03:01, 18 July 2007 (UTC)
I like how he has a generic music now.. lol. Does anybody know if his new name/look is styled after anybody?
It that a joke? I can't really tell. Anyway, it's styled after Jim Morrison. Brunbb 03:14, 18 July 2007 (UTC)
Is anybody gonna change his page to reflect the name change?
- I suggest that, at least for the 2007 section, "Hennigan" be used instead of "Nitro" as his third-person reference, because of yesterday's name change. I think the "John Hennigan" title for the page is the way it should be. If we change the title of the page totally it should be John Morrison (wrestler), since a John Morrison disamb page already exists.
The gimmick's meant to be a merge between Jim Morrison and Don Johnson in his Miami Vice days. I like it, because it finally seperates him from Melina and gives him his own identity. Steveweiser 09:21, 18 July 2007 (UTC)

I cant believe the estate of Jim Morrison hasnt sued the WWE/ and this guy for using the name. If the guy used the name "Jim Morrison" they could sue for improper use of the name "Jim Morrison".
- But he didn't use the name "Jim Morrison", did he? He used the name "John Morrison". So no, there's no grounds for a lawsuit. Calgary 20:12, 20 August 2007 (UTC)
Plus as he actually looks more like Val Kilmer then Jim Morrison, they'd have a problem proving it, plus they could just argue its a spoof, like if they called him --- Morrison, they couldn't do a thing —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 81.105.156.116 (talk) 18:19, August 22, 2007 (UTC)
- I had put in a mention regarding his name change, and how his character was retooled to dress like Jim Morrison, and how he's even adopted some of the late singer's mannerisms. I'm not sure why this was removed. Is the person maintaining this page too young to understand the obvious imitation of Jim? ECW World Title was really coughed up
People do not know that the real reason John Morrison lost the title to CM Punk was because he was in violation of WWE's Wellness Policy. I know we're not a match guide, and I haven't been a huge contributor or anything, but it's the only real thing he's done since winning the tag titles and competing at Survivor Series, and it was his first Tag Title defense on ECW. Isn't that the first time any other title has been defended on ECW besides ECW Championship? If it's notable on Yang, and perhaps Moore's article, then it seems notable here. Inspiration For Current Gimmick
Morrison's current gimmick is clearly inspired by rock legend and The Doors frontman, Jim Morrison. If it's not the name, it's the music. If it's not the music, it's the way he dresses. If it not the way he dresses, it's the way he talks. If it's not the way he talks it's his nicknames ("Guru of Greatness", "Shaman of Sexy"). Bottom line it's not POV, it's a fact. Anyone with any degree of knowledge of Jim Morrison (and The Doors) would agree. And I don't see why my recent edit was changed back. I think the article needs to reference this and is much more relevant to him currently than a lot of things in there. Atouraya (talk) 02:28, 4 April 2008 (UTC)
