Age

[edit]

According to the years John Lewis was born and the year he died, this guy lived to be 124 years old.

Here is said that in 1920 he was 72 years old, so he can't be born on 1855. --necronudist (talk) 16:43, 1 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

According to both Sporting Chronicle and soccerbase, the 1899 Cup Final was refereed by A Scragg Daemonic Kangaroo 13:32, 27 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Two John Lewis's

[edit]

I believe that this article has been written confusing two different football administrators called John Lewis. The more famous of the two was the man associated with Blackburn Rovers and the Lancashire FA, while the other was the man associated with the Worcestershire FA. I will re-write the article to remove as much of the confusion that I can. Higherwiki 23:00, 21 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I have now partially re-written this article to try and remove all references to the Worcestershire F.A. John Lewis. I will eventually expand the article with more information. Higherwiki 13:00, 8 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
