Corrections
[edit]The article mentioned, unreferenced, that Davies had been in a Signals Regiment. There is apparently no such unit in the British armed forces which has a Royal Corps of Signals. Moreover, according to the Daily Telegraph obituary of 24 August, Davies did national service in the navy. This has been corrected, and a reference provided. --Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 07:12, 25 August 2011 (UTC)
There are possible further inconsistencies in this article, mainly due to the claims not being referenced. Great care should be taken to ensure that all details, whether they concern biographies of living persons or deceased persons, are presented accurately, and if they can't, they should be left out.--Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 07:27, 25 August 2011 (UTC)
Davies' daughter appeared on BBC One's Antiques Roadshow on 15 October 2017 with some memorabilia of her father's life: [1]. Martinevans123 (talk) 20:30, 15 October 2017 (UTC)
