Sources that should be consulted
[edit]The following looked relevant but I have not consulted them:

Harriet
[edit]John and Mary Hazlitt had a daughter, probably in the 1790s, named Harriet. It would be good if this fact could be woven in, even better if at least the year of her birth could be determined. Wu mentions that as a child she knew and liked Charles Lamb, as the Lambs visited her father. There is some evidence that she lived to adulthood and married. I have been unable to discover more. --Alan W (talk) 04:51, 28 August 2012 (UTC)
- Thanks for this useful information -- hopefully I will be able to investigate this further shortly, since certainly it's an important aspect of the article. (PS apologies for the slow reply -- I've been away for a week or so). Celuici (talk) 17:36, 8 September 2012 (UTC)
- Understood about the slowness of the reply. We all have lives outside of Wikipedia. I'll be interested to see what you can come up with about Harriet. The link to the Lambs alone makes that worth pursuing, tying her in with literary biography. --Alan W (talk) 05:43, 9 September 2012 (UTC)
