Can't use this properly on this Android phone, but does anyone have the reference for Frost's time with Westland? Designing the Whirlwind fuselage is a big thing, and not mentioned in any other record I have seen (and I have been researching the Whirlwind design for five years). — Preceding unsigned comment added by 149.254.234.213 (talk) 07:57, 2 November 2016 (UTC)
Digressions in text
[edit]The digression on UFOs seems unnecessarily large. While some is appropiate to ilustrate the cultural background for the Avrocar that which is included seems excessive to me. GraemeLeggett 12:55, 25 September 2006 (UTC)
- Agreed. The first two paras are on-topic, but the rest really doesn't have to do with anything in the article -- much of it postdates it. Maury (talk) 19:03, 6 January 2008 (UTC)
- More than just a superficial revision is needed. This was an early attempt at writing a Wikipedia article and needs an extensive rewrite. FWiW Bzuk (talk) 03:38, 18 May 2009 (UTC).
Fair use rationale for Image:DH 108 Swallow TG283.jpg
[edit]Image:DH 108 Swallow TG283.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Early life
[edit]Nobody graduates with honours in anything from a British school, and they didn't back then. (I'm using school in the British sense, i.e. to describe pre-university education.) Could someone clarify what was intended here? Notreallydavid (talk) 16:55, 30 October 2016 (UTC)
