He was also the grandfather of those who established notable shipping lines - Cunard and Macbraynes. I have not mastered refences yet - working on it!

- He may or may not be notable. It all depends on the references you provide. For example, if you can show that he in fact did have a lot to do with the formation of Sunday schools, the he might be notable. Please review Wikipedia:Notability (people).
