The result of the move request was: move to Prior Hall. -- tariqabjotu 18:31, 20 July 2013 (UTC)
John A. Prior Health Sciences Library → Health Sciences Library (Ohio State University) – The name of the library changed, is not longer the John A. Prior Library. Adding the institution name to leave "Health Sciences Library" open for a generic page anbout heath sciences libraries --Relisted. -- tariqabjotu 03:11, 8 July 2013 (UTC) Ehschnell (talk) 21:11, 28 June 2013 (UTC)
- Question. What is the focus of the article? It seems to be split about the building and the library and other things. Is 'OSU:pro' provided by the library? The article does not make that at all clear or is the database housed in Prior Hall? There there is 'The Medical Heritage Center' which seems to be a museum. Clearly the image is of the building that houses the library. A better argument could be to rename to Prior Hall making the uses of sections in the article, with appropriate redirects and categories, for the museum and the library. Or rename to Prior Hall and split out the articles for the museum and the library. It looks like there is ample material for those independent articles. Keeping the current name or renaming as proposed do not appear to be the right option here. Vegaswikian (talk) 21:35, 3 July 2013 (UTC)
- Rename to Prior Hall. Since no one had pointed out any flaws with the basic approach above, I'll make my position official. If renamed, drop me a note and I'll split out the library Health Sciences Library (Ohio State University) and museum (The Medical Heritage Center) if the closer wants that to happen. - Support a move to Prior Hall per Vegaswikian. We shouldn't have a Health Sciences Library (Ohio State University) while Health Sciences Library is red, but I'm not comfortable with that move either. Focus on the building. --BDD (talk) 18:05, 15 July 2013 (UTC)
- Comment I will leave a note on the proposer's talk page suggesting the alternative name of Prior Hall. If we don't hear back from him/her in a few days, then I think it might be fair to make the move to Prior Hall. — Amakuru (talk) 23:21, 16 July 2013 (UTC)
- Comment The Health Sciences Library (Ohio State University) was the name of both a building and the organization at the time the entry was originally entered. In, 2012 the building was renamed to Prior Hall while the name Prior was removed for the organization's name, renaming it to the Health Sciences Library. Given that there may be many Helath Sciences Libraries, I suggested Health Sciences Library (Ohio State University) to differentiate it. (The Medical Heritage Center) is both a part of the Health Sciences Library organization and is located in Prior Hall. The intended focus of the entry is on the organization rather than the building, similar to University_of_Michigan_Library. The OSU:Pro database was developed by the organization much in the way JStore was developed at Michigan. So, It looks like what may need to happen is that several pages be developed: one for Prior Hall focusing on the building, one for Health Sciences Library (Ohio State University) that focuses on the organization, one for the (The Medical Heritage Center) and one for OSU:Pro. This is one of my first edits so I appreciate your patience as I learn how the process and the Talk feature work. Ehschnell (talk) 13:47, 17 July 2013 (UTC)
- That's fine. But your knowledge seems to confirm what I and others were taking away from reading the article. Vegaswikian (talk) 19:09, 17 July 2013 (UTC)
