Template bilbleverse for intervals like Mark 1:25, 31 ,34
[edit]The Biblegateway website, used for the basic NKJV bible, allows users to cite two or more verses (or intervals of verses) in a unique window. For example, a citation like Mark 1:25, 31, 34 renders this.
The template bibleverse Mark 1:25.31.34 doesn't work and shows solely the first verse 31. Variants of this syntax do the same.
On en:WP we have also 1:25; 1:31; 1:34 that produces three separate links pointing to as many windows, but it's far different from the possibility of displaying biblical texts into an unique comparative table.
It would be helpful to introduce this feature in the template:bibleverse. I don't know how it can be done. On the italian version of the project w:it:Template:Passo biblico#Uso del template has a syntax of the type passo biblico|Gn+1,1-10.Gv+1,1-5|nome=in principio that produces more verses and/or intervals in the same window. Possibly, it can be adapted to template:bibleverse, which is the en:WP corresponding interwiki to the Italian template:passo biblico.Philosopher81sp (talk) 08:31, 7 October 2020 (UTC)
