This article currently notes, "Goropius's work preceded that of William Jones, who discovered the Indo-European language family". This seems to suggest that Goropius influenced Jones, and specifically the description of Indo-European. I don't see any evidence that this is true, though. If there is a connection, spell it out and give a citation. If there isn't, don't suggest that there might be. Cnilep (talk) 06:19, 28 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
