@Mztourist: She is notable. There is a ton of coverage per WP:SIGCOV. I reviewed it as part of WP:NPP. The whole point of the notability tag, one editor put in it, if they have doubts, another editor take it out after examining the references. There is mountain of coverage. The article doesn't explain who she is why she notable. The lede doesn't explain it at all. I thought it was straight to CSD as well, the subject looks like a nurse, but she is not. scope_creepTalk11:08, 22 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@Scope creep: I'm sorry but your comments are rather unintelligible. What do you mean by "one editor put in it, if they have doubts, another editor take after examining the references"? You state "The article doesn't explain who she is why she notable. The lede doesn't explain at all." and "the subject looks like a nurse, but she is not." WP:SIGCOV states "significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject" whereas a lot of the page seems to be self-published from her "Visions of War, Dreams of Peace" while much of the rest looks like generic factual references or merely passing reference to the subject. I came to this page because of Lynda Van Devanter whose claimed experiences serving in South Vietnam have been proven unreliable and I suspect that Furey may be similar. @Mztourist: The way the tag works is somebody puts it in, if they doubt its notable, another editor checks the article and if it passes, the tag is removed. That is how it is always worked and it is not a group mechanism. If you think it non-notable, take it to Afd and we will have a discussion about it. Possibly but I don't think so. Everybody life experience is slightly different and I think in this case it is notable. Take it to Afd you have doubt but don't leave the tag in please. There is more references out there. Merry Christmas. scope_creepTalk16:54, 22 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
scope_creep, I'm sorry but your word-scramble comments are difficult to follow and make me question whether a thorough WP:NPP review has taken place. I do not agree that there is WP:SIGCOV here, but don't care enough about the page to be bothered arguing over it. Mztourist (talk) 03:07, 23 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
