View from the base of the Jin Mao tower Day and Night
[edit]I just so happened to have captured an image in 2001 that is identical to the Night photo looking up, except my one was during the day. I uploaded my photo as Jin_Mao_Day.jpg and I was thinking that someone with more wiki skill could put the images side by side in the article. close-up photo
[edit]The article has too many too-similar photos of the exterior. It should have a close-up that shows the jungle-gym lattice-work that invites climbing, to illustrate the section on climbing incidents.-69.87.200.109 10:42, 1 June 2007 (UTC)

Name
[edit]The rules of pinyin transcription combine the name as Jinmao Dasha, but it seems like Google Scholar and Ngram agree that the most common English form is still "Jin Mao" as two words and "tower" rather than "building". We should mention the alt names and leave the pinyin correct, but use the official and common format in the running text. — LlywelynII 12:25, 12 December 2014 (UTC)
