Fair use rationale for Image:SuperMysteryComics v1n5.jpg
[edit]Image:SuperMysteryComics v1n5.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Julia Mooney/Rooney
[edit]There's a Ziegfeld Girl name Julia Rooney [1], whose father and brother were the performers Pat Rooney Sr. and Pat Rooney Jr., and began as a sister act at age 5 with her sister Josie. A misspelling at the page linked above says Mooney at the end, but her parents were Rooney and she appears as Rooney throughout the web.
There's a still of a Julia Mooney, however, at [2], who is identified as a dancer in "Earl Carroll Vanities". We can't use this commercial link, but I did find a Julia Mooney on the Internet Broadway Database who did showgirl roles on Broadway at the right timeframe. Combined with Mark Evanier's reporting that Mooney had told him his sister was a showgirl, this seems reasonable to put in the article with a footnote.
The Libby Titus thing needs independent confirmation, still.--151.205.28.11 (talk) 15:17, 1 April 2008 (UTC)
- Actually, the timeframe for the Julia Mooney thing is a problem. There's a Julia Mooney on Broadway in 1908, then a showgirl Julia Mooney from 1931-1935, according to the Internet Broadway Database (which unlike the Internet Movie Database isn't reader-supplied data, but a professional database.) Even assuming they are the same Julia Mooney, and the 1908 version was a child actor, that puts her and presumably her family across the country from where Jim Mooney was raised. I've laid out all the information with footnotes in the article, without making any definitive claims. --151.205.28.11 (talk) 15:34, 1 April 2008 (UTC)
