Note on pronunciation
[edit]“Ł” is a letter in the Polish alphabet that is popularly pronounced like the English letter “w”. Since “ś” is also pronounced differently in Polish, most English-speaking people pronounce “Łoś” like the English word “wash”.

Los's death
[edit]A few people were confused about my original account of Los's death. He had the stroke in 1996, but he didn't actually die until 1998. The current article reflects this change. Aucaman 03:06, 3 November 2005 (UTC)
Los's middle names
[edit]Middle names of Jerzy Los were "Maria Michał" but he never actually used them. "Zygmunt" was the name of his father. Wlos
