The trade which involved the Orioles acquiring Frank Robinson from the Reds was engineered by outgoing general manager Lee MacPhail and executed by his successor Harry Dalton. Jerold Hoffberger's management style was never hands-on, so he didn't have a direct role in the transaction.

The recently-added information came directly from the sources mentioned in the bibliography. The other changes were made for the sole purpose of giving the page a clean look and making it more user-friendly. The Ink Daddy! (talk) 00:16, 7 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
