The history section is too short. Japan–Vietnam relation has been established since the time of Nguyen Lords, and a Nguyen princess was given to a Japanese trader as a wife. I request someone expand this article.--Amore Mio (talk) 02:25, 7 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
@Stackwiper:, in response to this edit, such a short piece of information could be expanded, it is better to have short information that is relevant to the article subject then simply remove it, this sentence could invite others to expand it. Likewise regarding a number of your edits a number of removals seemed kind of odd, like removing France's proposal to sell Vietnam to Japan during World War I or a Japanse university donating works to the Nguyễn Dynasty court during the same period. A lot of the removals just seem... Odd. --Donald Trung (talk) 17:04, 19 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
And why is the textbook information "irrelevant" to the article, the Japanese government saw it as something suitable to include as their presentation on Japan-Vietnam relations, the idea of selling French Indo-China also hardly seems "irrelevant". -- — Donald Trung (talk) 17:08, 19 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
