It's true AFAIK. I studied philosophy at Cambridge while or shortly after he was a PhD student there. I believe he lectured for a year or two. He's also had philosophy papers published so he was certainly a practicing academic around that time. Ben Finn (talk) 20:12, 8 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
