- ... that American racing driver James Sofronas worked as a salesman for tech company Pitney Bowes in order to buy the Nissan NX 2000 his first competitive race required?
- ALT1:... that Global Motorsports Group co-founder James Sofronas worked as a salesman for tech company Pitney Bowes in order to have enough money to enter his first race? (GMG car pictured)

- Comment: Image does not work with the first hook, but does with the ALT. I have no preference towards either hook.

- Tackling the criteria one by one:
1- The article was created within the last week, four days to be exact. 2- Meets the length requirement easily. 3- I see no issues with neutrality, sourcing or obvious copyright infringement. I would like a few more references, but the pivotal parts of the prose are sourced. 4- At 165 and 185 characters, both hooks are long but within standards. As far as it being appealing, I would remove the “for tech company Pitney Bowes” part since the article doesn’t elaborate on it having a long term effect on his career. Stating that he was a salesman may be enough. But that is my opinion, its not an important issue. 5- QPQ done. No issues with the image.
Overall, I would say that this hook is good to go. El Alternativo (talk) 05:48, 1 September 2021 (UTC)
