There have been several deletion discussions for this article, and everyone of them has clearly been the subject of some sort of lobbying event; events that lead to an almost 100% keep vote... And whilst I'm not saying that there is anything suspicious, or that any wrongdoing has taken place, I am not going to to be silenced from stating the obvious - if the president of some banana republic continually got a near perfect 100% of the vote on three subsequent general elections, would the electoral observers and citizenry be criticised for excessive naivety? Would that criticism be appropriate? Like I said, I am absolutely not claiming wrongdoing or shenanigans have occurred here. What I AM SAYING, is that this situation has taken on the characteristics of a very unfunny and embarrassing joke.
The subject of this article is absolutely and definitely not noteworthy enough in the English-speaking world, to warrant such a sizeable article... If any article at all.
This is not another deletion request - what's the point, the whole thing will just be a rather depressing repeat of the last bunch of "votes." This sort of article and the fanboyish "keep" votes behind its retention, is precisely the reason why Wikipedia is increasingly seen as a laughing stock. The fact that a small army of fanboys will repeatedly rush in to shamelessly defend the indefensible perpetuation of such articles, is reason enough to consider the possibility that something has gone very wrong with the whole system... Doc, if you're reading this, do the right and proper thing, and demand that this sycophantic (notice I did not say narcissistic) article be drastically reduced. It is the least thing, and most dignified thing, you could do in relation to this article!
Regardless of all that, my suggestion to improve this article (and, in turn, Wikipedia's reputation as a whole) is not to delete it, but to reduce it to the point where it is much, much, much, MUCH more appropriate in size and scope in relationship to the titular character's notability than it currently is... In my mind, that notability would extend to little more than a stub, if that. If this article were about me, I'd be embarrassed and ashamed - it reads like a report on the second comming... I'd be mortified that such a piece could only be thought of as a self-penned bit of self stimulation of the ego... so called intellectual masturbation. I'm not saying this article is autobiographical, I'm saying, if it were about me, I'd be deeply concerned that people would think it was autobiographical.
Whatever, my suggestion is as stated (in an overly long winded way, I grant) that it be reduced significantly, to a far more appropriate size. - M R G WIKI999 (talk) 17:24, 19 August 2021 (UTC) - EDIT - Stop deleting this section, please, if you think this is (as you tagged it) harassment, then state why and which elements, and I will gladly, and humbly edit the above myself... it is not for you to simply delete talk sections because you disapprove - M R G WIKI999 (talk) 10:01, 20 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Apparently, Doc James "may be personally or professionally connected to the subject of this article." So he may feel unable to edit it himself and any "demands" he makes may go unheeded. Martinevans123 (talk) 10:01, 20 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
OK, I see. I actually feel for him (seriously - text can often fail to convey sincerity, so please take that at face value) I wonder if he could maybe, at least express his views on this suggestion, at least... would that be inappropriate? Whilst I'm here, please forgive typos/bad grammar etc, I'm quite disabled and have great difficulty with keyboards. M R G WIKI999 (talk) 10:08, 20 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
