Occupation
[edit]While James Foster may be most famous as partner in an early firm of locomotiove engineers, his importance was as an ironmaster. The term 'iron worker' suggests some one who physically worked the iron themselves. That was lamost certainly not his role. However before I move this article to 'James Foster (ironmaster), I would approeciate the comments of others. Peterkingiron 20:36, 21 August 2006 (UTC)
- The article move sounds reasonable to me. You might consider a nomination on WP:RM to gain a little more exposure to the proposal. Slambo (Speak) 20:46, 21 August 2006 (UTC)
Support for move Peter I think ironmaster is a much better description of James Foster. I think he would have been seen as one of the "masters" rather than one of the "employees". DonBarton 23:30, 21 August 2006 (UTC)
- The move proposed above has been made. Peterkingiron 22:06, 19 September 2006 (UTC)
