Reorganisation
[edit]This article needs a complete overhaul, stuff is in the wrong sections, etc... I will attempt to do this at some point in the future, but anyone else willing to help is welcome to do it.--digital_me(Talk•Contribs) 03:53, 21 September 2006 (UTC)
Missing text
[edit]There is a chunk of text missing after the words "Place du Trianon in Sotteville". I think the error is in the citation reference but I can't work it out. Can anyone help? Thanks. Les woodland (talk) 11:06, 22 April 2008 (UTC)les woodlandLes woodland (talk) 11:06, 22 April 2008 (UTC)
Doping
[edit]If Anquetil admitted to doping, why hasnt his Tour de France titles been stripped? Portillo (talk) 03:42, 22 February 2013 (UTC)
- Because for most of his career there were no rules against doping; because even when there were, attitudes were different; and because back then the rules, circumstances and the sport were different. We are talking of half a century ago. Les woodland (talk) 09:47, 8 March 2013 (UTC)les woodland
- Fair enough. Thanks. Portillo (talk) 02:45, 9 March 2013 (UTC)
Image caption vs. team listing
[edit]Noticed that the first image in the article (Jaques_Anquetil_1963.jpg) refers to him being in the 1963 Tour and shows him wearing a St. Raphael team jersey, but the "Professional team(s)" listing below this image lists him as being with St. Raphael only until 1960. Not sure which is correct... Vertiginous1 (talk) 23:09, 4 December 2014 (UTC)
