Acceptance

[edit]

I accepted this article because Womer is obviously notable. However the article does have problems in that it covers too much additional information, which is why I have also tagged it hus:

"The history of the Filthy Thirteen is obviously interesting but should (already?) be in a separate article, referred to from this one. Thus slimming this article down and transferring the majority of the information to the other article is strongly suggested. Thsi article needs to be kept very tightly about Womer, who he was and what he did, please. Similar comments apply to other useful., interesting, but not directly biographical information in other fields"

Please do not simply discard the additional information, but merge it to other articles where necessary, or create the other articles if necessary. Fiddle Faddle 08:14, 25 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Acceptance of Jack Womer article: I further revised it per your recommendations, and uploaded a photo of Womer.

[edit]

Thank you for accepting my article on Jack Womer, and for your constructive recommendations for improving the article. I have shortened some of the paragraphs to narrow the focus on Womer himself. I have also uploaded a photograph of Womer taken in 1943, while he was a member of the 29th Ranger Battalion. Thank you. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Scdevito (talkcontribs) 14:33, 25 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
