There is a fascinating article about the dam in the Tennessean's archives here: http://www.tennessean.com/learn-nashville/archives/04/03/48100048.shtml?Element_ID=48100048

It would be nice to see some of this information added to the article, though I'm having trouble verifying any of the information elsewhere on the web -- especially concerning the failed attempt to destroy the dam in November of 1978. Any thoughts? --69.180.192.179 05:43, 9 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
