Iuliu Barátky → Iuliu Baratky – Two reasons. 1 google say "Baratky" 2. Romanian wikipedia say also "Baratky", without of accent graphic --Relisted. George Ho (talk) 19:16, 3 June 2015 (UTC) --Unikalinho (talk) 12:53, 24 May 2015 (UTC)
- Comment it's really up to en.wp whether to keep the Hungarian accent in Gyula Barátky's name even when giving him a romanianized first name. As someone who played for both Hungarian and Romanian teams if we want to preserve the full surname we can. What do English print sources (i.e. Google Books not webpage Google) which can show Hungarian names actually show? In ictu oculi (talk) 00:01, 26 May 2015 (UTC)
- There are far too few English sources of any calibre to judge. — AjaxSmack 01:05, 29 May 2015 (UTC)
- He was Hungarian and in 1910 he was born in Hungary with name "Gyula Barátky". - Csurla (talk) 21:02, 28 May 2015 (UTC)
- Then I would say Iuliu Baratky or Gyula Barátky. In ictu oculi (talk) 01:58, 29 May 2015 (UTC)
- Support a move to either Iuliu Baratky or Gyula Barátky. The current hybrid title is a little ORish. The subject was a Magyar born in Hungary but is far more notable for activities as "Iuliu Baratky". — AjaxSmack 01:05, 29 May 2015 (UTC)

- Support a move to either Iuliu Baratky or Gyula Barátky - not a hybrid of the two. I'm inclined towards the 'Romanian' name as that is where he spent most of his later career/years. GiantSnowman 18:18, 29 May 2015 (UTC)
- Support Iuliu Baratky. Not much coverage of him under either name on Google Books, but what was there did favour "Iuliu Baratky" (about three pages worth, compared to only one result for "Gyula Barátky"). It does seem that he was more notable under the name "Iuliu Baratky". Also, for whatever it's worth, that's the name the Romanian Wikipedia has him under. Jenks24 (talk) 18:49, 18 June 2015 (UTC)
