Fair use rationale for Image:Italy national football team logo 4 stars.png

[edit]

Image:Italy national football team logo 4 stars.png is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 10:20, 5 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hello fellow Wikipedians,

I have just added archive links to 3 external links on Italian Football Federation. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}} after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}} to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:

Please discuss the content dispute and make edit requests where necessary -- Samtar talk · contribs 15:13, 6 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

@Samtar: I've already tried communicating with the user in his talk page about adding unsourced content. He also uses POV prose and bad grammar as I don't think he grasps the English language well enough to make large edits like this. I'll notify him of it, but I think the page should be restored to the last version before his edits as that is usually how discussion goes with new content added; talk it out here before it is added. "Sources" are broken as well. The page cannot stay like this for a week. He's also had an article request turned down due to similar reasons. @Vaselineeeeeeee:

Hello, I'm the Head of FIGC Press Office and I found many errors or fault on the Italian Football Federation page on Wikipedia.en (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Italian_Football_Federation). Example: the history is not completed and it’s stopped at 2008. I tryed to publish many info with my account paolofederale. My objective is only to have a correct info about our company, I can give you all the support (info or pictures) on this page. Please contact me if you need at p.corbi@figc.it All the info I writed are published on FIGC website www.figc.it (english version) and are published on the FIGC official documents (Integrated Report, Social Report, Annual Football Report) that you can read at the transaprency area: http://www.figc.it/en/106004/2528254/Impianti.shtml Other references you can check at FIFA and UEFA official pages. Waiting for your reply, thanks for your cooperation, best regards. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Paolofederale (talkcontribs) 15:35, 6 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

@Paolofederale: Thanks for your response Paolo. The issue with your edits is that they contain very bad grammar and spelling...sorry to say. Another issue is that they are poorly sourced and go too much into depth where not needed. For example why do we need to talk about World Cup 2014 or Conte and Euro 2016 or Ventura? All that is unecessary for the Federation article. I understand the article is a bit out of date, but your edits were largely unsourced, and grammatical errors and had undue weight. You may also have a conflict of interest if the position you say you are is true. Vaselineeeeeeee★★★ 15:55, 6 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
@Samtar: is there in issue with this? Vaselineeeeeeee★★★ 15:56, 6 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

@Samtar: So now he's unresponsive (and maybe you as well). How can you, as an admin, lock the page completely with all those spelling and grammatical errors (take a quick glance, they're abundant)? How do you think that makes Wikipedia look for the potential readers of the page? If you won't do anything, can you please unlock the page so I can at least fix the grammatical errors for now. Thanks. Vaselineeeeeeee★★★ 00:52, 8 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Could you please make an edit request so that another admin can review and make the changes you are suggesting? It would be improper of me to make changes seeing as I protected the page in the first place - if, when the page protection ends, this content dispute continues then blocks will likely be issued -- Samtar talk · contribs 08:15, 8 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Since Paolo has been unresponsive, and due to the fact there are many blatant spelling and grammatical errors; those must be fixed at the very least. Vaselineeeeeeee★★★ 20:47, 8 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I have lowered the protection so you should be able to edit. Hope this is okay with you Samtar. — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 09:54, 10 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

@Vaselineeeeeeee: Hello, I was out of office last days, sorry. I hope you'll find the best solution to describe the Italian Football Federation on wikipedia, sorry for my errors (I have copied text from a pdf document and I last some words when I pasted). Let me know if I could help you, I really would like to give you the best support. Bye!
If you would like info to be added, I suggest asking if here first to make sure there are no spelling or grammatical errors. Also please be careful about what is relevant; we don't need to add info about every World Cup or every coach/president. Thanks. Vaselineeeeeeee★★★ 12:12, 13 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
