Gorizian nannies
[edit]I read somewhere that the Alexandrian high-class was fond of having Northern Italian nannies for their children and that even Nasser's nanny was a Gorizian. --Error (talk) 00:08, 26 October 2009 (UTC)

Lead lacks a defining sentence
[edit]The lead lacks a defining sentence, and is imprecise. MOS:LEAD says that, "the first sentence [of the lead] should give a concise definition of the subject. Currently it does not do that. It merely says that it is "a community with a history that goes back to Roman times." This does not distinguish them from any of many other communities whose history goes back to Roman times, e.g., the Basques and the Celts. Given the precision of the article title, one surmises that it has something to do with Italy or Italians, and something to do with Egypt or Egyptians, but what exactly that relationship is, is a mystery. It needs to be clearly stated. (And, like everything else, it has to be sourced, or rely on a section of the body of the article that is already sourced.) Mathglot (talk) 04:59, 31 August 2018 (UTC)
