[edit]Is there any evidence for the claim regarding Horowitz's strength in the first paragraph?
- Yes. One is
ChessMetrics which calculates ratings a mroe accurate way, and it puts him as #10 in the world at his peak in 1943. That's definitely grandmaster strength. Bubba73 (talk), 16:06, 12 March 2006 (UTC)
Books

Garbage
[edit]I removed the unsourced assertion that Horowitz didn't write any of his books, as well as the POV US/USSR story. The books section is gone, since he wrote a lot of books and we don't need to list every single one. I took out the sample game because it's available elsewhere. Isopropyl 21:19, 27 April 2006 (UTC)
A list of his books, and his most famous game, a brilliancy against Salo Flohr, are "Garbage"? Words fail me. Actually, I can think of a lot of words, but Wikipedia's rules about civility to other users constrain me from expressing them. Krakatoa (talk) 02:20, 3 February 2009 (UTC)
