Amir Hamza and Spain squad

[edit]

@Bs1jac: Here is where Spain seems to be showing a different squad, and Amir Hamza (along with two others) are marked as debutants. The Google card might not be correct I think, since it has some other incorrect information too (showing Atif Mehmood as Spain's captain and wrong toss result) মাশ্‌ফী※Mashfi (ETP) 10:23, 24 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@Mashfi23 Thanks mate. Difficult one to use. Lets assume its correct then and see what CI do. I am going to be busy over the weekend so enjoy this one :) Bs1jac (talk) 10:29, 24 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Just as I typed this, Google seems to have replaced Hamza Dar with Amir Hamza. মাশ্‌ফী※Mashfi (ETP) 10:24, 24 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@Bs1jac: Regarding Amir Hamza again, is it possible to check if it's actually ECN's Ameer Hamzah who's playing? The profile in CricClubs matches that of ECN Ameer Hamzah (RHB, RAM) while ECN-ESPNcricinfo Amir Hamza has different attributes (LHB, SLA). And ECN is also showing T20I records for Ameer Hamzah, not Amir Hamza. I suspect ECN might be correct here (Google card also shows Ameer Hamzah) মাশ্‌ফী※Mashfi (ETP) 14:44, 24 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@Mashfi23 These things are always fun! Probably best to leave Cricinfo to work it out for themselves then follow up after the series. ps. annoying that the Americas fixtures look like they will need to be changed again due to Belize vanishing from the schedule. @Bs1jac: Too much confusion in one day! -sweat smile emoji- I might be tempted to use that ESPNcricinfo feedback box for this though :P Fixtures changing for an ICC tournament literally the day before the start is indeed really annoying... and confusing too. মাশ্‌ফী※Mashfi (ETP) 14:53, 24 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
