Talk:Ironies of Automation

Greetings. We continue as a society to struggle with the ironies of automation, as seen recently in the Boeing 737-Max. Given the importance of automation, AI, and related topics, I think it is appropriate that the author of one of the most influential papers on the topic ever written be recognized for her notability.

Simply searching on Bainbridge presents a mystery. As stated in the article, images do not appear, nor biography. I do not know if she is even still alive. I hope that others with more knowledge of her personally will contribute and clarify matters.

Notability

Notability for this topic is claimed under WP:ACADEMIC "The person's research has had a significant impact in their scholarly discipline, broadly construed, as demonstrated by independent reliable sources."
