Ireland's Greatest Person
[edit]I had created Ireland's Greatest Person before I found the existing page. I've merged the content from there to here, as "Ireland's Greatest" appears to be the actual programme title. I trimmed some of the previous content; it doesn't seem notable that a local newspaper notes which locals have made the list. jnestorius(talk) 07:59, 8 August 2010 (UTC)
Someone has been vandalising this page and inserting new names. The correct list of 40 is here: http://www.independent.ie/woman/celeb-news/irelands-greatest-rtes-top-40-26648777.html — Preceding unsigned comment added by MarkHumphrysIreland (talk • contribs) 11:37, 2 March 2016 (UTC)
RTE Greatest Irishman 2001
[edit]and I think it was Irishman not Irish person. But anyway TK Whitaker won that poll but doesn't seem to feature in 2010 - can 9 years make such a difference ? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 77.96.74.49 (talk) 21:21, 30 December 2012 (UTC)

Irelands greatest sporting moments
[edit]When we find out the top 5 of Irelands greatest sporting moments 1962-2012 will it be added to this article or be given its own page? (Mobile mundo (talk) 19:06, 8 November 2017 (UTC)) Mobile mundo (talk) 19:06, 8 November 2017 (UTC)
Ireland's greatest scientist
[edit]Why is there 11 in the top 10? Mobile mundo (talk) 21:36, 13 November 2017 (UTC)
- Dr. Patrick Webster was a computer scientist for IBM in the beginning of the computer companies start to get international contracts and make multi million dollar profit year after year. He was originally a mathematics specialist and hired on for his computing skills inside his mind.
- He married a German immigrant named Margaret Lithgow Dahm, and they would settle in Philadelphia,PA and have 5 children that they raised strict and devoutly Catholic, Patrick Webster jr, Peter Joseph Webster, June Anne Webster, Donald Paul Webster, and Katrina (the massive cuntish bitch in everyway she could become, so much so ever man she will marry will divorce her due to how awful her personality was even with alcohol and physically looks like a human being somehow crossbreeded with a hippo, has the anger problems in fact. If she wasn't such a over the top bitch to everyone for no reason other than she's felt entirely better than the rest of the world to whom she was interacting with folks might assist her with this personality problem of hers she's had since Patrick Webster senior passed away and she was no longer receiving a good disciplinary lesson with his leather belt or the back of his hands that kept that mouthy bitch quiet most of her early life, but he was diagnosed with a rare heart condition and didn't get to see his children become The Great adults accomplishing so much more than he'd hoped, except Katrina was dependent upon men and being a weak piece of garbage who's better off dying from the congestive heart failure that ends the lives of so many worthless alcoholic inbreds like her. Here's keeping my fingers crossed that you'll be gone soon enough and cause no more grief and pain to anyone else in the family or you life. Your a lot like that sad vindictive and self centered bitch my mom used to complain about babysitting as a kid, and getting in trouble for 'teaching you how to swim to young' lol T0m3yW3bb (talk) 11:38, 15 July 2024 (UTC)
