Lead
- The lead is concise but somewhat short; I'd consider expanding it slightly. Places you could consider adding are Kalhor's disability and his times.
Infobox
- Probably not relevant, but what does "I.R." stand for?
- Islamic Republic. The formal post revolution name of the country is The Islamic Republic of Iran. More when I get home. Courcelles (talk) 00:04, 6 August 2018 (UTC)
Background
- Is "Iran" singular (Iran has) or plural (Iran have)? Regardless, the second sentence ("The nation sent...") should take a singular form.
- I'm not seeing the problem on this point. Courcelles (talk) 01:02, 6 August 2018 (UTC)
- Right now the second sentence states "The nation... have sent," which is grammatically incorrect. It should be "The nation... has sent."
- I'm not seeing the problem on this point. Courcelles (talk) 01:02, 6 August 2018 (UTC)
- "Sadegh Kalhor was the only athlete sent to Sochi by Iran, as he had been for the three immediately preceding Winter Paralympics." — Consider adding that even in the first Iranian Paralympics, there was only one other person.
- Done. Courcelles (talk) 01:02, 6 August 2018 (UTC)
- This section should have some information about the 2014 Paralympics generally.
- Some added, but I'm really not sure what you're looking for. Courcelles (talk) 01:02, 6 August 2018 (UTC)
Alpine skiing
- "his fifth consecutive Games" — How old was he at his first games?
- COunting back, about 19, but I don't have an RS for it. Courcelles (talk) 00:54, 6 August 2018 (UTC)
- LW2 links to Lethal Weapon 2
- Done. Courcelles (talk) 00:54, 6 August 2018 (UTC)
- What defines the LW2 classification, specifically?
- Added. Courcelles (talk) 00:54, 6 August 2018 (UTC)
- How is the LW2 division scored? The inference is that you add the times from two runs together, and the lowest wins; this is not stated explicitly, however.
- Stated. Courcelles (talk) 01:02, 6 August 2018 (UTC)
- "The gold medal was won by Alexey Bugaev of Russia" — What about silver and bronze?
- Added. Courcelles (talk) 01:02, 6 August 2018 (UTC)
Photographs
- I added a caption and alt text to the flag of Iran. How about a photograph of Sadegh Kalhor? If you can't find anything with an appropriate license, I think you could reasonably fair use an image.
- No way I'd ever upload a non-free image for this article, I'd speedily delete it myself as a non-free image of a living person. Courcelles (talk) 00:54, 6 August 2018 (UTC)
Looks good overall, Courcelles. I think it should be expanded slightly in a number of places, and a photograph would be nice, but it's not far off. --Usernameunique (talk) 23:47, 5 August 2018 (UTC)
- I think I'm done? Courcelles (talk) 01:02, 6 August 2018 (UTC)
- Courcelles, one minor point above in response to your query. As an aside, I'd recommend breifly copyediting after your GAC edits; there have been a number of random typos ("silve rwas"; "france"; "[3].[4]" and so on) that could have been picked up on easily. --Usernameunique (talk) 06:00, 6 August 2018 (UTC)
- Fixed, and, lesson learned, once the sleeping pills are taken, stop trying to work! Courcelles (talk) 15:00, 6 August 2018 (UTC)
- Thanks, Courcelles. Passing now. --Usernameunique (talk) 01:45, 10 August 2018 (UTC)
