LGM?

[edit]

There is nothing on that. How it compares to GM? 213.149.62.70 (talk) 15:52, 2 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Checked it myself. This article needs overhaul.
Titles rank from highest to lowest as follows: GM > SIM > IM > CCM = LGM > CCE = LIM; IM stands for international master, L for ladies, S for senior, CCM for correspondence chess master; There is a bigger gap between GM and LGM than it is between GM and WGM in standard chess. Considering that, it is suitable to see are there any woman with GM, SIM or IM title. LGM seems insignificant unlike WGM that ranks really high.
After 1.1.2021. LGM nor LIM will be awarded. So see how you'll approach that.

Broaden the article

[edit]

It seems that 2700 ICCF rating is as rare as 2700 FIDE rating. So it would be good to list all with 2700 and over ICCF rating like it is done for FIDE (List of chess players by peak FIDE rating) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 213.149.61.49 (talk) 22:08, 7 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
