[edit]I am not clear reading this page whether it is a description of a proprietary product IJP produced by mdv gmbh, or a more general description of the function and nature of any Intermodal Journey planner. It is important to clarify this point.
Helsinki
[edit]The best system I've seen is the one used in Helsinki; I've managed to get it to give me a sub 1 hour cycle-train-tram-metro-bus journey, all of which worked perfectly! I think it was developed by the university, although it says "powered by Logica":

"Journey Planner" and "Trip Planner" both seem to be commonly used terms for what's described herein, but if you google "Transport Information System" you get lots of entries that have nothing to do with IJP.
