I think there's a chapter on this in The Handbook of Discourse Analysis by Tannen, Schiffrin, and someone else. Although, it might be written by Gumperz so there might not be much that's not already in this article. rʨanaɢ talk/contribs 16:08, 8 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
