Capitalized name
[edit]The band always wrote their name with capital letters -- the same way NIRVANA did -- so should the article reflect this? --Tirolion 07:32, 7 February 2007 (UTC)
- In regards to the date the band formed, I would guess 1989 at the earliest, because I actually remember most everything happening in 1990. My brother was the guitarist, and I probably was at their first show, and some of their earliest rehearsals. I'm 100% sure that any of the rehearsals or shows of theirs I went to were in 1990. It's certainly possible they started writing and practicing songs in '89 though, because I know Daniel was friends with Marian for a while before I met her in the spring of '90. I'm pretty sure their first live performance was in 1990. I could just ask him I suppose, but he actually has a much worse memory than I do, lol.
- In regards to the comment above about the all capital letters---I don't think there was any significance to caps being used other than just making the letters clearly visible on a show billing etc...You can even see on the myspace page, which is maintained by my brother, the original guitarist, he writes "The Insaints" in some of his posts, so obviously he doesn't care about caps.

- In all news articles and references I have seenn the name is not in all caps, just the first letter. I think all caps are incorrect.

- Following on from the above, AllMusic show the band's name as The Insaints, which is clearly at odds with the present Wikipedia article's name. Any thoughts? - Derek R Bullamore (talk) 12:26, 24 September 2020 (UTC)
