Superfluous tags
[edit]Ingenico is well-known as a major world EFTPOS player, so I can't understand how it could be classed as "not notable" and (presumably) deleted. And I don't think the editor who said the article was "written like an advertisement" can have seen many advertisements! Ingenico is a successful company which has numerous achievements, and stating them is not "advertising". More of WP's anti-business bias, I'm afraid. Now if the article were about some minor celeb, that would be ipso facto notable... Chrismorey (talk) 06:51, 29 April 2015 (UTC)
Fix revenue
[edit]Please, fix translation error from French in thousands separator for revenue. It should be EUR 2.312 billion in 2016. Pander (talk) 12:31, 12 September 2017 (UTC)
EBS was the second largest billing software company in India way before Ingenico bought Ogone, so it merits more information on wikipedia, HOWEVER, by redirecting to the Ingenico article which lacks information on EBS, this has the counterproductive effect. Certainly there are competent and productive wikipedians out there who could spend a few minutes of their time to improve the information available in the article. see EBS talkpage 126.209.11.21 (talk) 18:08, 9 October 2017 (UTC)
EBS is defunct, so it`s not relevent, is it? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 126.209.12.35 (talk) 15:13, 17 October 2017 (UTC)
Ingenico logo, or Ingenico font on other Payment Gateway reciepts
[edit]I noticed that an ISO 4217(356)INR payment reciept dated 23rd October 2013 bears the logo (or at least the font) "Ingenico" on the top-right of the EBS logo. Perhaps this practice was common to other Payment Gateway services now part of Ingenico. Barclays Bank Plc confirmed the successful "capture" of the funds, and the fee for INR conversion into GBP, Sterling. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 126.209.0.225 (talk) 12:41, 21 October 2017 (UTC)
This fact has been noted. The article does not currently delve to such depths as your documentation of the pre-merger EBS/Ingenico integration, but it may well be a noteworthy trend with pre-M&A subsidiaries of Ingenico other than India's EBS. 206.53.189.18 (talk) 17:21, 13 December 2017 (UTC)
