This month, April 2024, the University of Cambridge announced that they have compiled solid evidence that the British Industrial Revolution started in the 1600s, a century before what this article (and most sources) claim.

Should there be a section discussing how the IR propelled Europe's position in the world and this drove imperialism? [1][2][3]

I would say no to talking about the IR effects on imperialism after the IR but a paragraph or couple of sentences in the causes for Britain section talking about the wealth that came with the britsh empire which may have helped setting the IR into motion but I would have to go look for sources to back that up Pikachubob3 (talk) 01:14, 2 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
