South Asians

[edit]

Would it make sense to add all south Asians to this article? The ISTAT table shows the following official residents in Italy: India 69,504, Sri Lanka 56,745, Bangladesh 49,575, Pakistan 46,085, etc. for a total of some 225,000 people. I think it would streamline the potential for multiple similar stories while representing the entire region. Any thoughts? Dionix (talk) 21:39, 21 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I have deleted this statement " However tourist will attest to their frequent and uninvited harassment at many tourist sites within Rome and Italy's other cities. In Rome it is especially bad around the Colosseum, Piazza Novona and the area surrounding the Vatican City. Though they do nothing illegal, they often shove novelties in your face and it can be quite annoying. "

Reason for delete: Ignoring the bad grammar and spelling issues. I've spent months in the aforementioned regions and spoke to many of these novelty salesmen, the majority were actually Bangladeshi or Sri Lankan and only a small minority were of Indian origin and since the person who wrote this, left no citation the statement has even less validity. Having brown skin is not a pre-requisite of being Indian, thus no one can attest that anyone with brown skin is an " indian novelty salesman " 77.100.152.52 (talk) 22:06, 25 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
