Sometimes the inner-workings of Wikipedia astound me. While it is obvious someone has tried to direct a page toward the song of this name, it redirects to this article about the album. I assume that to mean the article about the song has been deleted. I cannot believe that an article about the album that contained the song would take priority over the significant song itself. As I recall, it was the #2 song of the year in 1967--I'd say that qualified the song as a significant subject for Wikipedia. Essentially a One Hit Wonder for the band. I could go on at length about the unknowing information police who are running around Wikipedia, deleting articles about whose significance they do not understand. If you happen to read this--do not delete articles in fields you do not understand. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Trackinfo (talk • contribs) 03:44, 2 May 2009 (UTC)

Incense and Peppermints in The Simpsons
[edit]I'm adding a bit about the song being used on the Simpsons but don't have a reference. If you have one, please help me out. ElioDelRIo (talk) 06:29, 17 January 2010 (UTC)
- That's fine but it might be better suited to the Incense and Peppermints (song) article, since that deals specifically with the song itself, whereas this article is all about the album of the same name. Still, there's no reason why you couldn't mention that the title track of the album was used in The Simpsons in this article. I notice that you added something and then removed it, though I'm not sure why. --Kohoutek1138 (talk) 17:30, 17 January 2010 (UTC)
Page vandalism by Virgin Hudson
[edit]User Virgin Hudson has been adding unsourced imaginary material to this page without explanation. When reverted, he or she adds them again, again with no explanation or references. I am making this comment in preparation for future reporting of this user for edit warring/vandalism, if they refuse to desist. Greg Fasolino (talk) 15:41, 21 February 2017 (UTC)
