Bias
[edit]This article seems a little biased, just the tone of the beginning, "first and only" and then the bit about the filtered audio, is that really appropriate there? Styracosaurus 03:50, 4 May 2007 (UTC)
- I put "first and only" in because I thought it was useful to the reader. If they're searching for documentaries on the Second Amendment, it might be a good place to start by watching the first one created. It's also a good place to stop, because it tells them there aren't anymore out there.
- As for the part about the audio, I also thought that would help the reader. If they're watching the film and aren't aware of this, they might think their copy is defective, when really it's supposed to be like that. But perhaps it would be better if it were placed towards the end of the article? 66.84.204.196 05:52, 4 May 2007 (UTC)
- I removed both of those (before seeing the above comment) because the former sounds like advertising speak - besides, the second amendment has been discussed in plenty of documentaries - and the latter is irrelevant to an encyclopedia article. This isn't a guide or a review. - DavidWBrooks 12:47, 7 July 2007 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:In Search of the Second Amendment DVD Cover.jpg
[edit]Image:In Search of the Second Amendment DVD Cover.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
