This article has turned into an unreadable mess
[edit]Too many red links, too much untranslated Italian, too many quotes from old reviews, some editor's opinion being given as fact,for instance Donizetti's pre-Anna Bolena, ruggedly youthful, intensely Italian score still awaits the appreciation it deserves - no,no,no, we don't say things like that unless they are quotes from a cited source. Too much detail, almost all unreferenced, of early performances. A completely unreferenced section on the original singers, does not belong here at all. Unreadable synopsis, ridiculously ending in "FINE".I am putting this article back to the way it was before these unacceptable changes started.Smeat75 (talk) 12:49, 18 April 2018 (UTC)
