Other Illuminati
[edit]DC Comics has an Illuminati too (maybe two...)...should I include any info for them? Orville Eastland 03:29, 14 February 2006 (UTC)
- If there's a conflict then this should be moved to Illuminati (Marvel Comics) and a new page named Illuminati (DC Comics) created, leaving this as a disambig. --Jamdav86 09:48, 14 February 2006 (UTC)
- It's not really a conflict. It's just that DC has one definite Illuminati (founded by Vandal Savage and Garn Danuuth) and one possible illuminati (Known as "The Illuminated Ones" or "Fiatlux", founded by the demon Hellrazer. (The two may be connected...)). However both of those organizations have been sort of forgotten. Orville Eastland 21:21, 14 February 2006 (UTC)
- If either of the DC groups are notable in terms of DC's history and someone out there can provide enough info on them to fill an article or two then I'd say it is worth separating them. 63.233.19.117 05:24, 3 March 2006 (UTC)

I'm pretty sure that Blackbolt didn't disagree on Ironman's pruposal. 83.226.148.184 16:03, 31 March 2006 (UTC)
- No, he just sneered and Iron Man accepted it as a vote of no confidence, and should probably be perceived as such. 194.80.32.8 14:06, 30 May 2006 (UTC)
- This should definately be merged with New Avengers: Illuminati. As for DC I agree that if someone can write the article then rename this Illuminati (Marvel comics) and leave this as a disambig otherwise there seems no point. Also i put some comments here: Category talk:Illuminati. Palendrom 04:51, 27 April 2006 (UTC)

Post Civil War
[edit]Now that Civil War is over, I have updated the section. Reverts/edits welcome. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by The Great Unwashed (talk • contribs) 10:39, 23 February 2007 (UTC).
Marvel Ultimate Alliance
[edit]In a scene at the end showing what happens if you save Namor, they say he will help to found a team that will save Earth on numorous occations. It shows Prof X, Namor, and Black Bolt sitting at a table (only half is visible so the others could be there). I was wondering if you thought this was a reference if so it needs to be added.
Which Marvel Boy?
[edit]In the article it states that issue #4 deals with "Marvel Boy's" fall from grace. Which Marvel Boy? The Robert Grayson one? Whichever it is, this should be clarified. Joeyconnick 19:32, 8 July 2007 (UTC)
She-Hulk
[edit]I think it should be noted that, near the end of the article, it's stated that She-Hulk is fighting against the Illuminati, whereas in the body paragraphs, it's noted that Hulk defeats her alongside the Avengers while trying to get Reed Richards. I haven't gotten all the issues yet, so if someone could clarify this? ArchangelX777 05:17, 20 July 2007 (UTC)
Move?
[edit]This page was moved using what appears to be copy and pasting. This is a bad idea because it breaks the edit history but it also seems to not be based on any discussion.
Given the discussion at the top of the page (which got this moved) there are other Illuminati in comics - the one created by Vandal Savage being the most notable. Interestingly DC have just released the Time Masters trade which collects the encounters with Savage and the Illuminati [1] so there will be interest in them.
So all of this means I reversed the move pending discussion on this. (Emperor 13:48, 30 October 2007 (UTC))
Chronological history
[edit]I've types up an Illuminati chronology, incorporating appearances in the New Avengers: Illuminati One-Shot, Limited Series, and New Avengers, as well as the members' roles in Civil War and World War Hulk. It presents everything in proper order (up to New Avengers: Illuminati #5). I haven't edited a page yet, and I don't want to just delete the plot summaries already on the page. Should I just post it under a new heading and let former editors add to it, or incorporate their plot summaries into it? Oh, it's all present tense, too! (Curleyfries 01:00, 8 November 2007 (UTC))
- Just to clarify something, this article claims that Xavier was off-world chasing Vulcan when the others decided to send Hulk into space. However, Hulk was sent into space BEFORE Civil War. But when Xavier went into space, he took Marvel Girl with him, and she has not come back yet. Marvel Girl took part in the early parts of Civil War, so there is no way "being in space" was the reason for his absence. More likely, he was still hiding in Scotland after M Day. The chronology should be: Illuminati sends Hulk into space; Planet Hulk storyline (with Silver Surfer prisoner); Annihilation (with Surfer now free) parallel to Civil War (with Marvel Girl present at Stamford cleanup); Rise and Fall of Shi'ar arc in X-Men (Professor X goes to space with Marvel Girl, Xavier comes back with powers again and without Marvel Girl); World War Hulk (Xavier shown with powers returned). --Icemanjeff (talk) 15:23, 15 September 2008 (UTC)
Contest of Champions
[edit]There is this scene in Contest of Champions Issue One (from the 80s) where you see Reed, Tony, Xavier and Dr. Strange talking to ech other. Not sure if this should be added, actually I am sure just don't know how to add photos to pages. JackalsIII (talk) —Preceding comment was added at 18:17, 14 July 2008 (UTC)
Infinity gems
[edit]This article mentions they've split up the gems amongst themselves for safekeeping. First off, it's sort of conveniant that there's 6 gems and 6 of them. Who would have gone gemless if Black Panther had joined them? I also wonder, in the issue where this is described, does it mention who takes which gem? The different powers are pretty relevant considering what the characters could do with them. Although, it doesn't seem they've played a part (due to lack of mention) in the Civil War but since both IM and MF had them, you can't help but wonder if it affected it somehow behind the scenes. WikiProject Comics B-Class Assesment required
[edit]This article needs the B-Class checklist filled in to remain a B-Class article for the Comics WikiProject. If the checklist is not filled in by 7th August this article will be re-assessed as C-Class. - Done - needs more references and the Publication History section is far too thin. (Emperor (talk) 20:18, 9 December 2008 (UTC))

In other media should have two categories
[edit]Look via Comic Book Resources thanks to Empire Magazine in this link here it confirms the Illuminati will make its live-action debut in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. So it may be reasonable to make the In other media section here in to two sections. Animation and either Live-Action or Marvel Cinematic Universe. Just my thought here. 0Detail-Attention215 (talk) 19:06, 17 March 2022 (UTC)
- There is currently not enough information to separate them into two subsections. If the list extends beyond two bullet points, then we can reconsider. InfiniteNexus (talk) 16:10, 18 March 2022 (UTC)
