What is wrong with this article?
[edit]I'm getting rather worried about this article, as a BLP; the vast majority of information seems to be vandalised so much it's generally incorrect, even when a reference is given. (I found it looking through a vandal's contribs; the most recent vandalism reversion I did, wrt the birthdate, it seems that neither the original nor the vandalised version matched the reference, so I changed it to match the reference. Oddly, two references were given and one didn't actually reference the text, so I had to delete it.) I'm concerned that the article is, basically, entirely vandalism rather than facts, not suitable for a BLP. Anyone who sees this, be very careful about believing anything in the article. --ais523 15:32, 17 November 2010 (UTC)
- Okay, give me a day or two.Anythingyouwant (talk) 18:45, 17 November 2010 (UTC)
- Okay, I've done my best with the time available. Hopefully that helps. I think all the vandalism has been removed now. Cheers.Anythingyouwant (talk) 20:09, 18 November 2010 (UTC)
- Thanks, that looks quite a bit better. Now I have a presumably accurate version to start from, it should be easier to find an accurate version to revert vandalism to. --ais523 15:21, 19 November 2010 (UTC)
- Sure, no problem. Johannes003 has added some good info today too.Anythingyouwant (talk) 00:59, 20 November 2010 (UTC)

Why is her nationality listed as "Portuguese"? Shouldn't that be "Indian"? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Resh19 (talk • contribs) 11:04, 25 December 2017 (UTC)
- She has taken Portuguese citizenship. See source shivam (t) 18:48, 26 December 2017 (UTC)

Birthdate
[edit]There seems to be some dispute over Ileana's birthday. The given source by bollybite.com doesn't seem reliable at all. Ragalahari.com said she celebrated her 23rd birthday on November 1, 2008. 123telugu.com wrote she turned 23 on November 1, 2010. According to her Twitter message November 1 seems indeed to be her birthday, though the year is still not known. So the date is being changed to November 1 now. Any further edits shall be discussed here first! Johannes003 (talk) 14:09, 29 April 2011 (UTC)
- It seems, then, that 123telugu and ndtv agree that she was born in 1987, and ragalahari is just an outlier. Samsara 05:05, 9 August 2017 (UTC)
- This is perhaps a slow conversation, but this source, and this one seem to say that she was born in 1986, although again they agree on November 1. Thoughts? I know very little about the reliability of any of these sources. Pinging Johannes003, Samsara, GorgeCustersSabre. Wham2001 (talk) 16:40, 9 July 2020 (UTC)

Ileana's nationality is "Indian" not Portugese! Please correct this! N2nsoftware (talk) 04:38, 21 January 2018 (UTC)
- There is a cite from what seems like a reliable source that uses the word "nationality". It's not the same as an ethnicity or national origin. DMacks (talk) 05:03, 21 January 2018 (UTC)

Ethnicity correction
[edit]Her family is Goan Christian, doesn't naturally make her Portguese. This spot need proof of ethnicity being Portuguese. 24.244.29.57 (talk) 18:35, 17 November 2021 (UTC)
DoB
[edit]Hey 2406:7400:bd:52ac:7db2:856b:7347:fb03, could you please say why you’re changing the DoB from 1987 to 1986, even when our source says 1987? I don’t know if this ping will go through. Vanderwaalforces (talk) 05:51, 6 May 2024 (UTC)
